Frag al Salone del Mobile 2017

For the 56th edition of Salone del Mobile, the brand presents a collection that stylistically mirrors its long production history, with its new lines and timeless materials. Frag’s almost centennial production of leather and hide combines with precious finishings, complex manufacturing, wood and marble varieties, resulting in discreetly charming yet strong items, which come to express an international language and an all-Italian quality range. The long-time bond is re-proposed by the stand designed by Ferruccio Laviani, who has now collaborated with the company for 7 years.

The new products’ collection marks the brand’s new collaboration with Christophe Pillet at Salone del Mobile 2017, this time resulting in the creation of an upholstered armchair called Hollow and the family of storage units Privé. Harmonious, essential yet endowed with a modern, refined personality, the creations by Gordon Guillaumier perfectly materialise with Frag‘s daybed Hudson and its collection of tables Comb to be placed by and opposite the sofa. This year the Italian-Japanese duo mist-o, with its essential, linear style, came up with Winnie, an upholstered lounge armchair with a generous outline, and a new dining table, Caribou, two products with an imposing yet convivial appearance.

The duo Analogia Project created Viae, a collection of tables reminiscent of old Roman cobblestones, smoothed and polished by use and time.

The creator of the whole section, Ferruccio Laviani, along with Frag, also presents the new bookcase Bak, with its slight material contrasts, and expands the collection of tables and accessories Bak.
